Putting this here so as to not pollute the rest of the forum, even if slightly GTR related.

So in my hunt for a '14, I swung by my local Nissan dealership, who has a '14 BE for sale, and asked to sit in it to see if I fit (6'4, 220+lb).  I also mentioned that I have an infant and was curious if a rear-facing car seat would fit in the back.  The sales manager, said, well bring it in and we'll see.  So I went back and got it.  Surprised how well it fit to be honest.

I did fit in the seat in this configuration, though I was quite cramped.

Anyway, sorry for the noise.  Just popping this here in case other folks are interested.

The brand of seat is a Maxi Cosi Mico.

Anything rear facing sucks for the person sitting in front of it. lol

When you get to forward facing it isnt so bad, just sucks sometimes if your kiddo likes to kick the seat a lot. I have the Recaro Proride and like it a lot

Oh nice.  That's good to know.  My wife is 6', so yeah, the 3 of us will be an uncomfortable group in it, but it's nice to know it'll work in an emergency, and that it gets better with a front facing. :D

Kids grow up faster than you think.  Buy the damn GT-R already.  LOL  ;-)

Seriously though, my daughter has ridden in the back since she was 2 years old, with a front facing seat, and just recently started riding in the front seat with booster.  It's been very manageable.

OMG Dave. Even if there were no emergency, if you pack a 6'4" person, a 6'0" person, and *any* person in the backseat an emergency will instantly materialize :)

Crappy room or tons of room - I say buy the car. I have had worse living conditions than being a little cramped in a super car lol

There is not much of a better feeling than hearing "daddy can you you take me fast" coming from the back seat........

You guys are a (predictably) awfulgood influence.  Can't wait til my little girls says that.

The price they quoted on it is competitive, but I am still doing due diligence before I pull the trigger on it.

Funnily, went back to pick up the LEAF and the wife said "Have fun visiting your car".  So that's nice. :)

LOL.  Yeah my daughter is gunna be tall I think.  It's ok, she can sit sideways when she gets bigger. :)
